As a resident of a sanctuary city I’m amazed by how well the illegal Mexicans are managing to hide their rampant tsunami of murder, rape, drugs etc. Clever bastards - you’d almost think it isn’t even happening.

I completely agree—they are the backbone of the economy. Despite the lack of job security, they show remarkable resilience, seizing opportunities through hard work and gratitude for a system where determination can lead to success. Their contributions deserve recognition and a fair path to citizenship.

Back in the 90s, I had latino neighbors. Can you believe they offered me AMAZING hospitality, and infinite friendship??? With just nothing but respectful behavior! To ME! A random white guy!!!

    Terrifying…

“They don’t have to help us, but they need to get the hell out of the way cuz we’re comin’, we’re gonna do it. Which means if I gotta send twice as many resources to that sanctuary city, twice as many agents, that’s exactly what I’m going to do,” Homan said.

“And I’ve been saying for the last several days that they need to study the law,” he said. “They can not help, but don’t impede us, and don’t cross certain lines.”

Homan also promised “consequences” for anyone who tried to conceal undocumented immigrants, and said that the government’s efforts to round up human beings for detainment and deportation would begin with “the worst of the worst first.”

This definitely has eclipsed the parameters of the community. This dystopia is about to stop being “boring” and if they follow through on 1/3rd of the insane shit they’ve mentioned, it’s going to become an incredibly chaotic and brutal dystopia in a hurry.

ICE is doing all the SS / SD stuff (as in Schutzstaffel / Sicherheitsdienst ) and had gotten a lot of calls to see the department abolished during Trump’s last term. One of the notable comparisons is how ICE is targeting immigrants who don’t have violent felony records even though they had been ordered to only target those with violent felonies, which is how we ended up with impacted detention centers (through which infectious diseases ran rampant).

Compare this to the German SD who targeted all Jews regardless of an order to only go after those with criminal records.

Hopefully, ICE will overstay its welcome in these cities much the way the German occupation did in Paris France (or ICE did in Portland during the George Floyd protests) which tripled the active resistance within a week. If ICE chooses to be that brutal, and we stand by our neighbors as they are harassed, then at minimum they’ll get chased out, and at best we’ll actually see the department get shut down for turning into the propaganda poster of police brutality.

I’m no fan of cops but if any LEO in a blue state is willing to stand up to these goose-stepping pricks it should be commended.

My guess is the vast majority won’t, but I can remain hopeful.

If a cop stood up against the feds it would only be because they decided that keeping their job was preferable to disobeying orders. It would not be because it is the right thing to do.
