I think it’s worth communicating how this admin is using their powers, and to other people that the vegan community was taken over by an anti-vegan carnist for personal reasons. So that users can make up their minds over where they want to participate.

Outside of that I don’t really care, I’m not optimistic they’ll be reigned in and think lemmy.world is not a very well run server for reasons like this.

What is a system that has not failed? Like it’s pretty apparent whatever we’re doing now isn’t working. We’re in a mass extinction, the climate is destabilising, homelessness and sickness exist alongside people that personally own jet aircraft.

Land usage?

water usage?

Fertiliser usage?

That animal farms are hubs of disease outbreaks?

Thermodynamics?

Where the Amazon is going?

That killing/branding/doing surgery/forced impregnation etc when you don’t have to is wrong?

Systems can be broken and incentivise poor behaviour while individual actions also make a difference.
