Backdoors to encryption don’t exist. A backdoor is basically just breaking the encryption. If a journalist can use it, anyone else can too.

Human beings are not infallible either.

AI doesn’t know what’s wrong or correct. It hallucinates every answer. It’s up to the supervisor to determine whether it’s wrong or correct.

Mathematically verifying the correctness of these algorithms is a hard problem. It’s intentional and the trade-off for the incredible efficiency.

Besides, it can only “know” what it has been trained on. It shouldn’t be suprising that it cannot answer about the Trump shooting. Anyone who thinks otherwise simply doesn’t know how to use these models.

The point is that they can use that data for further training. They want to build a monopoly like Google is for search.

That’s great but this is Android. I don’t want to install random apks from Github. Google, Fdroid and Izzy are trusted stores that people have been using for decades. Sure, there are better stores and newer technologies. It’s great when apps distribute over these stores to. But why artificially remove options? Shouldn’t it be up to the customer (and their threat model)? Afterall, I’m getting the app from the store and not the store for the app.

Yet another appstore… I just want to get the app. I don’t care about what stupid repository the developer prefers. This is getting out of hand. Definitely not downloading another appstore just to get this app.
