You throw around a million women raped at gunpoint as if the guns are responsible, how many women are raped without guns by chance? Orders of magnitude more? Thought so. Of course I’m giving you flippant responses.

I’m not telling them I’m sorry for shit, I did nothing to them, I’ve raped nobody. I will tell them that the man was responsible not an inanimate object, and I’ll teach them how to defend themselves with one if they want, but make no mistake it was a person that made the decision to rape and you shouldn’t make excuses like “the gun made him do it.”

Sure, a person made that decision, not a gun, don’t make excuses for murderers either.

Oh you think just shooting dark figures is a good idea? Lol cool, you and your “real men” have fun killing innocent people by mistake then, alpha boy. I’ll be over here with the betas and gun safety. You’re a fucking joke lmao.

Without the guns there would be a lot less rapes by gun. Just like there would be a lot less suicides, murders, etc. This doesn’t even touch the surface of threats with firearms which are ridiculously common.

“Gun violence is a leading cause of premature death in the U.S. The rate of gun deaths has increased 34% from 2014 to 2023”

“Gun homicides: 19,651 people were killed by a gun in 2022, the second-highest number of gun homicide deaths ever recorded”

“Gun suicides: 27,032 people died by gun suicide in 2022, an all-time high”

These sound bad but once again it only scratches the surface. Congress has been cock blocking all efforts to research and quantify gun violence for decades literally defunding anyone who tries.

Yeah, I can see you are not sorry. It doesn’t matter how many people suffer or die for your toys. I bet if a million people died from gun violence you would just shrug. This isn’t even a thought excersise because over the last 20 years a million people have died.

Do you care? Fuck no. There are now more guns than humans in the US. If guns were the solution and not the problem we should have no crime to speak of. How many moar guns do we need to be safe Asinineallthetime?

Furthermore why does no other modern country have the problems we do. Perhaps the obvious is that Americans are uniquely pieces of shit that can’t be trusted with guns? Or maybe it is just we refuse to regulate and make guns safer.

Your going to save millions of woman (4 million to be precise) every year from their abusive partners with guns? You gonna give them all guns and train them in the ways of self-defense!?

      https://www.kbtx.com/2024/12/10/shes-gone-forever-mother-fatally-shot-after-her-2-year-old-son-finds-loaded-gun/

Yeah we see how that turns out. For every law abiding intelligent and safe gun owner there are hundreds with loaded guns leaned next to their front door, under their pillow, under the seat of their car, in their purse, or jacket unsecured.

As the gun nutters always say, what is the point of a gun that is not loaded and ready to go.

      https://www.kiro7.com/news/trending/police-father-arrested-after-saying-gun-under-his-pillow-went-off-killing-his-2-year-old-son/CNQNSWGE6ZCXVPUAVKQJKRXNW4/

How many family members is it okay to die by firearms? How many more loved ones have to be sacrificed at the altar of gunsexuals!?

You also use one of the stupidest logic fallacies about guns. That without them people would still murder, rob, suicide etc. at the same rates. You ignore the convenience of firearms and how much more likely someone is to do something stupid with a gun than without.

I went to highschool with a lot of wanna be gangsters. Seeing how a young man acts with a gun compared to without one is eye opening. Every single boy I knew that emulated gangster lifestyle is dead now.

You haven’t even shown up for this conversation. You are like some knuckle dragging dumbfuck on the sidelines shouting, “you need a flashlight so you can identify your target at night.”. To which I respond what kind of made up fantasy world do you live in?

How many innocent’s have you avoided killing because of the flashlight attached to your gun? Me even asking that questions shows how much of a fucking clown you are. The kind of person who should never own a firearm.

And I assume you have a plan to get rid of over 600,000,000 guns in civilian hands without a registry to know where/who has what? Pandora’s box has been opened, there will never not be guns, all we can do is stop people from buying new ones (which would certainly help disarm POC and women who are the two fastest growing groups of gun owners for damn near half a decade by now, if your goal is to make it so mostly white men have guns that could work I suppose.)

Japan proves guns aren’t a prerequisite for suicide. In fact really only men do it with guns here, women opt for intentional poisoning statistically and since they’re your sole focus it won’t help much there.

        19k killed, 100k defensive gun uses/yr (Harvard). 100k > 19k.

        100k > 27k. 19,651+27,032=46,674, 46,674 < 100,000

        Blah blah blah tldr.

And now we get the the dumbest fucking argument of all. There are so many guns how are you going to regulate them. It’s like if you have a big problem suddenly you can’t do anything about it.

If there was ever a reason to regulate something it is when it has become a big problem.

Then you bring up the next stupidest argument. The fact that Japan has no guns but high suicide. Guess what Sherlock? Their suicide rates would be much higher if they had a lot of them.

This has all been discussed and proven thousands of times by empirical evidence. I already told you no matter what I say or evidence I present you won’t care.

If your entire family were killed by gun violence and ten million people died tomorrow from preventable gun death you would not care. There is no limit to your lack of humanity. Nothing is going to change your mind.

Tbh with their cultural aversion to firearms in favor of blades, I doubt this claim as well. In any case they’re doing just fine killing themselves without them.

I wouldn’t blame the guns, I’d blame the murderer. If your entire family was hacked up tomorrow would you blame Cutco? Have fun with that.

You are just talking out your ass about Japan. I will tell you something that actually makes sense. Japan eradicated gun crime.

              https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-38365729

As always you seem to be stuck on the stupid path bringing up a country that proves regulation is effective.

Japan has one of the lowest rates of gun crime in the world. In 2014 there were just six gun deaths, compared to 33,599 in the US

I told you nothing would change your mind, not fucking the truth, and certainly not reality.

                Tell that to Shinzo Abe.

Japan as a whole is largely uninterested in firearms: Graduating police officers most often choose judo and kendo over firearms training. The country’s culture doesn’t have a history of widespread gun ownership by citizens. Instead, historic influence have made weapons to be seen as “the mark of the rulers, not the ruled”.[3]

Oh but yeah no clue why I would say they culturally prefer blades. Is there any historical context to the “mark of the rulers” bit I wonder?

Gun and sword control started in Japan as early as the late 16th century under Toyotomi Hideyoshi in order to disarm peasants and control uprisings.

                Oh. Well that’s cool.

I am supposed to believe you suddenly care about human life now.

Ok I will bite, let’s talk children who have died of gun violence in less than a year in the US.

                  https://casten.house.gov/media/press-releases/casten-reads-names-665-children-under-11-killed-guns-so-far-year-unable-finish

                  In his speech, Casten said:

"Madam Speaker, I wanted to take a moment to read the names of the children under 10 years old in America who’v been killed by guns so far this year.

                  "Aiden, age 8

                  "Alice, a newborn

                  "Alyssa, age 6

                  "Amare, age 10

                  "Andres, age 9

“Antonio, who went by the nick-name “ESPN”” age 7,

                  "Arbrie, age 8

                  "Ariah, age 7

                  "Arlene, age 9

                  "Asa, age 8

                  "Ashton, age 2

                  "Autumn, age 3

                  "Avere, 3

"Bella, 4 and her sister Brixx who was a newborn

                  "Bridger, age 10

                  "Bryson, 3

                  "Caleb, 5

                  "Cayden, 10

                  "Charlie, 10

                  "Charlotte, 9

                  "Charvez , 2

                  "Chloe, 7

                  "Clesslynn, 2

"I realize you’re gaveling me out.

"There are over 600 names on this list—I

Don’t even pretend you care about Shinzo when you could care less about millions of Americans.

Guess how many gun related child deaths this year in Japan. Fucking zero.

It is like your own pet holocaust we all have to live with just so you can LARP about killing people.

I’m not claiming “America eradicated gun crime” like you are for japan lol. I’m claiming that “just because someone owns guns doesn’t mean they’ll shoot theirwifechildrenyaddayadda.”
