It looks like Mr Toad wearing a waistcoat and trousers. OP you should have tried giving him a tiny top hat and pocket watch.

Was just talking with a coworker about how with the rise of server-side rendering we’re finally technologically back to Web 1.0

What’s that little primus bottle thing? I feel like it’s dredging up some very early childhood memory for me.
Knowing how astronomers typically name these things that could legitimately be the actual name for this telescope.

And yes, I did get a CAT scan just to check.

They have de facto immunity, even if it’s not technically de jure.

will@lemm.eeto You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK that habeas corpus has its roots in thr Magna carta, from the 13th century.English0·19 days agoDidn’t the Supreme Court last year basically decide that the President can do anything without restriction if it’s to execute his duties? will@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Any recommendations for the best expense reimbursement software for remote teams?English21·22 days agoMy team uses Expensify, and I have to say, I don’t hate it. The website is full featured, the mobile app is actually pretty good, and you can even just email receipts to an email address and it will parse them out properly the vast majority of the time. Management-wise it has all of the approval chains, grouping, etc that you might expect. The company I work for is only about 50 people and my team is only 10 so I couldn’t say how well it scales, but I imagine unless you have some particularly unique requirements it’d do the job.
Word. Also it’s not even remotely true, as history, anthropology and archaeology have all shown us.

The blurb on the outside of the box of 666 CD-ROMs:
“SataNIX stands apart from other distros by putting the end user’s free will first. Want to switch package managers? No problem! Interested in swapping out GCC for LLVM/Clang? You bet! Able and willing to patch the kernel, alter reality, and throw down with the creator himself? Have at it! (but he may ban you from the kernel dev mailing list and/or revoke your merge authority)”
