Aren’t dollar coins used in the US? Because I’ve used them in dollarized economies (e.g. Ecuador) and I assumed they were fairly standard everywhere.

So, what about the new (emulation based) system that came out? I know it’s mostly for the games, but can it also be used for BASIC programming? I still have a couple of magazines which came with fun user-made programs laying around.
