Other people have tried gum and not had it help them. I find it pretty helpful for me so far. I’m now two weeks in and I only chew 2 pieces a day now. Only have it when smelling others’ cigarette smoke triggers my cravings. Overall, I’m gonna try to quit the gum by the end of next week.

I will note that I seem to have way easier of a time with nicotine withdrawal than other people I’ve talked to.

Japan should just try communism. I hear it works great and then you can cozy up with your neighbors of Russia and China.

But isn’t the whole message that the windmills are an imagined problem not a real one like cars? Or am I missing a layer of this?

We washed a person’s feet before doing a special religious service project. Essentially like you said, to humble the self and focus on the act and God. Of course the project was really bad in terms of morality but I do think ritual aspects of religion feel nice. As someone said, people are cultural and engaging in acts and symbolism feels good.
