I’ll have to look into it. It’s not a huge company and its still partially in startup mode so I’m not sure how they’d have set it up :/. I know the different markets are definitely not self sustaining companies at the very least. I think the Canadian office just manages CAD payroll and some of the legal details of operating here.
Also: definitely not Allstate. Much much smaller company that deals in cyber

Idk if it’s just for individuals, but our ISPs generally don’t care about pirating already. I use a VPN to pirate here but just set to another city in Canada. I only even do that because I run jellyfin and have terabytes of downloads a month.
Worst case scenario is the ISP sends you a notice that the media companies are mad, but that’s the end of it. They won’t pursue anything further because they don’t care

This is actually the one thing I hate about GNOME. I keep a nearly fully empty desktop but I like having one as sort of a staging ground for temp files. I like just being able to chuck a file there and then drag it into another program, all without having nautilus open
