But it’s the right thing to do to unequivocally condemn the Israeli government and their enablers because of their right wing genocidal policies towards their neighbours. The pattern you are following is that of claiming Israel cannot be criticised without it being antisemitic, which is the same bullshit Netanyahu is trying to pull.

They could try to stop Democrats from voting with the Republicans every chance they get, for one thing.

I don’t have a lot more to contribute, since db0 did such a good job of summarizing everything. Just wanted to mention that I really enjoy being able to hang out in the community we have grown into. And also a big shoutout to the other admins, who are an exceptionally thoughtful, sincere and hard working bunch of people - it’s been a great pleasure getting to know y’all and thanks for donating your time and expertise to keep the ship afloat.

I already raised that concern as well, but I do think it’s worth a try. Would be great to dupe the functionality of the NSFW tag for this purpose.

I’ve been using it for years, and switched to that repository soon after the previous versions were taken down. No issues with it afaik, and I’m very grateful to the developers for keeping it going.

I don’t think that’s true tbh. The Dems have never managed to nominate a popular woman as their presidential candidate before. Clinton was almost universally disliked by the public (for lots of good reasons other than her gender), and ex-prosecutor Harris’s campaign was hamstrung by Biden, as well as being seen as an other pro-corporate Democrat stooge. AOC might actually have a fighting chance compared to her predecessors. But she’ll never be able to be the Democratic candidate until the old guard of leadership is replaced, let’s face facts.

Do you feel like it’s been extra exhausting lately, or is it just me? I used to think hexbear was the biggest pita to deal with but they are honestly pretty chill nowadays, especially compared to LW debate lords.

Can you help recommend a reliable archiving service? We may be able to include an archive site as well for the same purpose. Xcancel was recommended by a lot of folks, so that’s the main reason we picked that front end.

I think our preference would be to stick to xcancel.com links if you need to link for factchecking. I hadn’t given much consideration to archive links though, to be honest. I’d be interested to know your thoughts on those, and I’ll review the comments again on that topic. We can always tweak the policy if need be.
