Now Russia has already cost the EU a member, thanks to Brexit and Russia’s misinformation campaigns

    Are you British?

Where I’m from almost everyone supported Brexit - due to the huge amount of Eastern European workers that undercut British construction workers and students. Nevermind the unpopular EU stuff like not being able to lower VAT or exclude more products too.

Putin had nothing to do with it.

Meanwhile the real issue here is that Europe should have built nuclear power and never depended on gas and oil imports.

To me it’s very clear that Russia runs campaigns aimed at creating division by amplifying whatever radical voices they can. That includes Brexit, Trump and likely the far right in many other places.

It’s not a mastermind plan, it’s about weakening those countries by dividing its people and making their inefficiencies bigger and bigger. They’re not creating the divide, or radicals from far right, or Nazis/fascists, but they’re making it big enough that it’s a big deal.
