Top tip: tilt the photo a bit, so that the horizon is horizontal. That’s why it is called the horizon: because it is actually horizontal (or vice versa). Unless you are under the influence, our brain is used to see the horizon in a horizontal position, and any photo looks much more harmonious if it is aligned correctly. On a personal note, you want to be regarded as a great photographer, not a hopeless drunk.
